Designing Security Infrastructures for Communities with Sensitive Data (DeSIC)
DeSIC is an open source project which aims to provide tools for data sovereignty to marginalised or under-threat communities. We focus on providing positive digital security to users while also giving them the ability to delegate access to their data.
We have worked closely with communities and organisations in Greece and the United Kingdom to co-design a comprehensive prototype data repository which includes data delegation functionality and an encrypted device-to-device chat.
